Beef Tomahawk
The beef tomahawk is an exquisite culinary masterpiece; it's nothing more than a beef steak with the rib bone still attached. The final product resembles an axe, hence its name. This is what the Native Americans called their axes.
It's an ideal cut for grilling or barbecue. It's a cut with infiltrated fat, providing juiciness and a rich, intense flavor. This product is presented fresh and vacuum-packed.
Sold individually.
How to prepare the beef Tomahawk:
If the Tomahawk steak is frozen, we'll slowly thaw it in the refrigerator for approximately 3 days . Once thawed, we'll remove it from its packaging and, using absorbent kitchen paper, dry it and let it come to room temperature. Season with salt and pepper to taste before cooking.
It's recommended to cook on a barbecue. This way, we can grill the meat until it's lightly browned when exposed to heat; this is called searing.
It's best to use charcoal or wood for the barbecue. The smoke gives the meat a special, high-quality flavor.
The first thing we do is heat the barbecue. Once done, we'll sear the tomahawk on all sides. Once this is done , we'll lower the temperature and let it cook for 15-20 minutes . Once it's cooked, let the meat rest covered in aluminum foil in a warm place for about 15 minutes , and this delicacy will be ready!
