At Tolecarnes, we unify these two aspects—genetics and traditional breeding—by selecting the best breeds of cattle and offering them a healthy environment, free from stress and noise. We provide them with a natural diet. We ensure that our animals consume food sourced from the environment, in the fields, for much of the year. This ensures a healthy diet and provides them with the opportunity to exercise. Our pasture is located in the Montes de Toledo, on the north side, much more humid than the south side, where, despite what some may think, rich pastures grow naturally at its foot for much of the year. An ideal microclimate for raising cattle. During the winter, our cattle are fed with part of the grass harvested during the months of abundance, and are supported by 100% natural feed produced by our Valle de Mena Cooperative. We always maintain the animals' physical activity to subsequently produce exquisite and tender red beef.
